Throughout the years, Thermocast has implemented a Research and Development activity aiming at studying new alloys for specific purposes and finding always more efficient technical solutions. Besides the external laboratory equipped to perform chemical analysis and metallographic tests, Thermocast can count on a testing furnace specifically studied to test rolls and other castings, as well as accelerated oxidation processes.

Our experience confirms that the lifetime of castings depends on various factors, among which the correct choice of raw materials, the metallurgical quality of all alloys, a correct design of the parts.

Our activity can either be aimed at modifying the required castings in the project phase, also choosing the best alloys to work with, or verifying all operative conditions in order to evaluate the modification of a drawing and the best raw material.

Our goal is the increase in savings and efficiency in any condition.
